From a hadith.."a man who has as much as grain of Taqabbur will not go to paradise."...Taqabbur is the sifat (prerogative) of the Divine Lord n none else can share it with Him.
The Sufi Shaikhs say that a spiritual seeker (salik) shud consider himself as worst of all beings including dogs n swines...Hzt Musa a.s was once asked by Allah swt to bring the worst thing in the world.He was roaming abt to find it when he came across a dead dog smelling awefully. He spread his cloth to take it when he heard a voice saying that the dog is not the worst thing bcoz it keep watch when all sleep n faithful to its master.Then Hzt Musa a.s went off n saw some stinking filth (human dung) lying. So he spread his cloth to take it...but a voice said:"This is wheat n it is not worst thing. It has gone bad by remaining 24 hrs in man's stomach.Having failed hzt Musa turned to God who asked: "Musa hv you brought the worst object." He (Musa) replied: "Yes, Sir." God said:"Where is that?" He (Musa) said:"It is I". Allah swt was pleased to hear this and praised his answer.
....Very inspiring n effective story...FIRST I MUST KEEP THIS IN VIEW to reflect every now n then.We all are weak n forgetfullness always behold us...may Allah swt bless us with guidance n humilty n protect us all time.
